I think its more that you should be happy you didn't lose.

He probably would not have dropped his king unless you pushed on the flop - he was UTG with K5 he had no business being there so he clearly thought his trip Kings were best.

I strongly doubt he would have folded even if I had pushed the flop. He would have called gleefully, ready to double up.

At least the slow play allowed us to split some chips from the other players.
