My right arm hurts and I can't twist it to get to the keyboard. I hope it's just a sprain. This is what I get for bad posture/desk setup. Time to buy a new desk and everything... going ergonomic. I'm in my 20's. This isn't right.

The guy I used to rock climb with had to quit rock climbing because he developed carpel tunnel. he was 23. He spent all day at a keyboard at his job. I dont think age has much to do with it, its all about how much you use your wrists (or whatever the hell causes it)

It's probably just a repetative stress injury.

Definitely take as much time off the keyboard and mouse as you can. It should be fine in a few days if it's not anything worse than what I suspect it to be. I've had the same sort of thing happen a few times.

Also, CT is caused by genetics as well as how you strain your hands and arms on a daily basis. It's generally a combination of the two factors.

What do you do about it? Advice? Recommendations?

Make sure your elbow is the same height as your hand when you use the mouse. Also, your elbow should be resting on something so that you don't have to hold your arm up.
