Satan clearly needed Saddam. Remember when they broke up, and Satan started dating that pussy, it was satan who went running back to sadaam for some good ass pounding.

It is interesting that Satan, a much more intriguing character than God in my opinion, garners so much less interest and comment.

Yet, without Satan, God (Here, I am referring mainly to the Christian or Western concept of God) would become even more of a cardboard cutout deity than He already is.

But also, most religions do have a dual concept, of a 'god' and a 'satan' or an Ultimate Good and an Ultimate Evil, and eternal warfare between the two. This is a marvelous marketing ploy on many different levels, and also reveals a deeply embedded dichotomy in Human Nature.

Nothing really new in this but I wanted to point it out. It is Fat Tuesday afterall.
