gametime plus problems

hopefully this is the right forum for this....
my computer cant run pokertracker and gametimeplus on 4 party tables without freezing whenever pokertracker auto-updates its hand history. my computer isnt bad it is:
pentium 4, 2.0 GHz 512 RAM
should this be happening? am i missing something? thanks for your help

p.s. i have about 90K hands does that affect anything? thanks again

Try auto updating your hand history less often. What is it set at? I'm assuming you have it at 3 minutes. I run GT and 4 tables pretty easily with 1 gig of ram, set at a 3 minute auto import. Your 512 ram and the size of your databasemight also be a slight problem.

You might want to try PV. It runs more efficiently and tends to bog down less resources.

My db is about 125k hands. I had trouble w/ gametime+ with 512MB RAM set at 3 minutes. I had to set my autoupdate out to about 7 minutes (4 tabling). I upgraded to 1.25 GB RAM and I was able to turn it down to 3 minutes no problem. (1.6 GHz machine)
