So -- since they are down we need extra hours to complete the bonus right? anybody already contacted them about this?

I already got my bonus, but my guess is that they'll extend the bonus deadline without having to be asked.

If it's not up by the time I get home from work, they're definitely getting a bitchy email from me demanding that they extend the deadline.

I know Party and Empire would just tell me to go pound sand, but PokerNow is already on thin ice with the communities at 2+2 and BW. IMHO, they are teetering between being a successful skin like Empire and being a washup like Intertops. Considering that PokerNow has no casino to fall back on, they need to be successful as a poker skin.

If they are down for a good part of the day while people are trying to work off 1000 hands in 72 hours, they had damn well better extend the deadline, or they will just be putting a nail in their own coffin.

I just didn't bother with this reload. I figured if a 10X reload with 72 hours to clear got to much support, it would send a strong signal to sites that they also could get away with such crappy bonus offers.

Why play like a slave to a site for 72 hours just to get a 10X reload? 10X'ers are so common place at other sites with no time limits either. Supporting a bonus like this will only send a message to other IGM sites that its OK to do the same. That means no more 5X and 7X reload offers at Party and Empire in the future. They may also choose to offer only 72 hours to clear instead of a week or a month.

I just see to much of a downside for supporting this 10X/72hr PokerNow offer.

10x in 72h is quite hard, but I prefer getting for example two of these insted of 1 with 7x and unlimited time.

My point is, if you don't like clearing the bonus, don't do it. And maybe if more people chose not to clear them, they would come more frequently /images/graemlins/smile.gif

The numbers that are really important are the ones behind the $ sign (along with those infront of the x sign). The numbers infront of the % sign should mean very little to anyone with the proper bankroll.

For this PN bonus I deposited $400 anyway, so I can 4 table 1/2 comfortably.

Ummm, never. But I'd choose a 10% 7X $100 bonus with 7 days over a 50% 10X $100 bounus with 72 hours everytime. But that's not really important.

I'm waiting for Party or a Party skin now to offer a 100% 15X $500 bonus with 48 hours now. That would be funny. But I bet a lot of people would take it none the less.

So you guys are agreeing this is a great bonus for someone trying to build a bankroll. $100 bonus forced on you to play and make it in 72 hours. That's good for someone looking for that $100 to build their bankroll.

I can agree with that. For someone with only a $200 bankroll, getting a 50% bonus is great!

I remember a time where I thought getting all those Prima 100% initial signup bonuses were great. $50 for $50 seemed great when you only have $100 in your neteller.

So I guess it's all a matter of perspective...and bankroll.

This bonus is not really for someone to built their bankroll. Because if this play only has $200 bankroll that means he's new to the game. And a new guy wont easily clear the bonus in 72h without losing all his money. This bonus is meant for the bonuswhores.

I really don't understand why they only give 72h to clear it. It was madness, it felt like working. I got paid really well, but still, I don't want poker to feel like working.

I had a great time clearing this bonus, I was a little fried after just clearing the initial deposit 15x bonus (for $150) but I cleared them both (3250 raked hands) in about 5k hands, evenly split between .5/1 and 1/2. Of course, then I got greedy and tried to take a shot at 5/10 6max so I could get up to enough money to max out the FEB150 bonus on Empire and failed miserably. Whoops.

I prefer to clear my bonuses in one session though. I only made it about halfway through that 2250 hand bonus before I had to sleep though, that one was brutal.

This bonus was freaking great to help build my bankroll -- if I had stayed within my limits I would have done great. I must not have run into any of the bonus whores because I cleared 65BB at 1/2 6max doing the $100 bonus...

Not it! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Took 10 hours 4 tabling .50/1 over 2 days. I wish they wouldn't have rushed us though. What's up with that?
