How to avoid being slowplayed out in low buy-in MTTs?

I try to make success in low buy-in MTTs.

I observe the players and as long as there are a lot of calling stations, I bet quite aggressively when I think I have the best hand. This often takes me a long way but it makes me very vulnerable to good slowplayers. How to combine these to issues? /images/graemlins/confused.gif

If the player calls your bet at the flop, try check-raising on the turn to see where you are at.
