View Full Version : I'm on a roll

I have turned $200 into $2201 in 11 hours of online play. 10/20 holdem. I'm posting anonymously because I don't like to brag--although I'm very happy with the last two days /images/smile.gif I played 8 hrs yesterday and 3 hrs today; I won't say which site, but it was all at one, on one table at a time only.

The reason I'm posting this is because I'd like to know if anyone else has been on a streak like this. I'm a longtime winning player, but I've never experienced anything like this. Have you? If you'd like to share streaks of your own, consider posting anonymously as well. And don't lie, because I know I'm not...

Good luck!

400 X $20 = $8000 in 10 hrs. Either you're joking, or my streak is not nearly as good as I thought it was...

For someone who doesn't like to brag you are doing a good job. But here is my story.

March 2000 I went on a sick winning streak at Planet Poker. I won 1000 big bets in about 100 hours of single table play. As a matter of fact my accont was frozen because their software thought my win rate was a bit odd. Roy Cooke had 2 look over my hands to see if I was getting information that I was not due. If was pissed and scared, because they never called or emailed me to inform me of the situation. I must have sent them 100 emails in a two hour time span. Roy finally sent me an email while I was sleeping, he apologized and un-froze my account. That did not change the fact that when I went to sleep I thought my 40 thousand was history.

BTW the guy who posted that he won 400 Big Bets in 10 hours is on crack. No way no how!

Imagine making $8000 playing 10-20 in one day, and 10 hours is a short day in poker terms!

Finally I did get all the money due to me, but I never really played at Planet again. I really feel that I got very lucky, and did not expect to win like that in the future.

I once won 100BB in 70minutes. The deck ran me over, I had a maniac to my left, and about 3 calling stations were in the game. When I had a hand I simply checked to the maniac (who preflopped raised/reraised/capped EVERYTHING) and then raised all the calling stations who called him. Sometimes he'd reraise and most of the stations would keep coming. It was the most wonderful 70 minutes of my poker life when nothing could go wrong.

Once a jek, always a jek.
