I am also very curious to see what some other people think, as my skill is far underneath most in these forums;

Situation 1: You are under 5BB and are losing position. You will be in huge trouble if the blinds come around again. I call, hoping my opponent has an underpair, or weaker ace.

Situation 2: With a raise and a call in front of you, do you expect A10s to still be the best hand? You still have 10BB and will soon have good position. I Fold.

Of course, it is better to be the one pushing all in rather than calling, but I think with the chip counts as they were I would take my chances with both of those hands.

Sounds good to me. I would add that in #2 the big stacked small blind has chosen to get involved with a raising big stack - he very likely has a hand better than yours, even if the button raiser doesn't. I think you have enough time to wait for a better situation.

Welcome.
