I replied to this email to tell him to fuck off. If it was from Party Poker, they'd already have this imformation. If this is some scam, I blame Party Poker for giving away my email address. Anybody know what Pay-Pro is?

I don't think this is a scam. I registered with Party Poker, and was called the next day. They wanted to confirm that I had signed up. They didn't ask for any other information, however.

I do not know what pay pro is.

If you ask the live host they have on Party, he will help you. I got a similar email (from pay-pro). Pay-pro is apparently their payment service. Talk to the host he will tell you if it is kosher or not.

I got the same email long ago, though I don't recall anything about pay-pro on it. I checked my account information at Party Poker, it was all correct. I talked to the live host at Party Poker and all the help they could give was an 800 number. The 800 number isn't Party Party's only however, it's evidently also used by other online casino and sportsbooks. If you don't speak fluent spanish, good luck trying to communicate with the guy on the other end of that 800 number. I gave up after an hour on the phone and cashed out my bankroll from Party Poker. A week or two later, after I'd already received my money, I got another email from them telling me I could make no further transactions with them until they had the information. They've seized the 75 cents remaining in the account. I never cared for the site, the software IMO is the worst on the net, and the players play ridiculously slow. I've never returned to the site and have no plans to do so.
