I can't find a good way to search for this in the archives, so I'll just ask...

I've taken many classes in probability, statistics, game-theory, etc. so I certainly have a decent grasp of the basics.

However...that was a long time ago and all that stuff is hidden away in an atrophied portion of my brain that doesn't get much work in the "real" world.

I'm hoping someone can point me to a good source--prefereably a web page, 2+2 book, or a thread here that will give me a quick refresher on the techniques needed to do do basic (and not so basic) probability/stats/game theory as it relates to our favorite game.

thanks!

I'm sure this is a FAQ type question that there is a standard answer for, but for me the resources that are good are:

http://www.stat.sfu.ca/~cschwarz/Stat-301/Handouts/node62.html and related links for one of the clearer explanations of commonly used statistical terms and how to apply them.

For more math question obscure or common I find http://mathworld.wolfram.com/ has a done of information.

Hope that helps.
