Looks like an underpair that UTG can't let go or a busted draw to me (or A-rag).

Without a read, bet it to give him a chance to fold.

Edit: he posted a dead blind UTG? Definately bet it.

You are not betting here to get him to fold. If he has stayed in this long with an A he is most certainly calling. He will fold a better hand here roughly 0% of the time. Unless his mouse runs out of batteries or something like that.

The bet here is for value, he will call down with worse holdings.

Hey Kilgore, have you read Venus in a Halfshell?

I was being sarcastic with the "give him a chance to fold" bit. The UTG post leads me to think anything is possible with this guy until proven otherwise.

I like your "roughly 0%" line. Classic.

I haven't read Farmer's stuff. I like the idea though... pretty tapped to give the by line to one of Vonnegut's characters.

Warning - thread has been hijaked. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Nah Venus in the Halfshell is a bizarre little known Vonnegut book with Kilgore Trout credited as the other. I am a huge Vonnegut fan and was shocked to find that it even existed, as it is never listed on any of Vonnegut's book lists. Not sure if it is for sale or not, but if you are interested you should check some used bookstores or maybe ebay?
