Yes. This is what I vote for. The only time I ever see this show is when I go to the Mountain High casino in Blackhawk, CO. For whatever reason, they always have this show on at least 4 of the TVs. Keep in mind that this is in the poker room and the volume is of course muted, giving it that extra bit of WTF sensibility.

Doesn't something have to be really popular first before it can jump the shark? This is the show starring the cab driver dude from Wings, right?

Unlike the others, I think the show's pretty good. It's a lot sadder than I would have thought.

And originally, I avoided watching it because I didn't like the idea of a retarded detective.

Can somebody estimate when asking when something has "jumped the shark" is going to stop being trendy?

So what you're saying is that "jumped the shark" has... jumped the shark?

Definetly one of those shows where when you hear "critically acclaimed" you instantly wonder who acclaimed it. I don't know of anyone who likes this show.

It has the mangina guy from Silence of the Lambs as the chief in it, which always weirded me out too.

Its really popular with the older crowd. Like 40+ My grandparents love it, my aunt loves it, I've heard alot of other older people say the really like it.

I've watched it a few times, and its "ok", it doesnt suck or anything, and is prolly better than most of the crap thats on TV

If you mean Primo from Big Night or Freddy Riedenschneider from The Man Who Wasn't There, then yes.

I really like it but that may be because I have some OCD tendancies and seeing someone be really clean and tidy excites me in a speacial way. That and its pretty funny with Tony Shalhoub doing some good acting.

Show is pretty good. One of the best shows still being produced on TV. Although, I do have an affinity for detective shows and good acting. Plus my wife is OCD and the show makes her feel happy and normal, then she doesn't bother me with all of the "How much money did you lose today crap."
