Sahara has a good one at 7pm daily. 40 buy in with 20 add-on. 1500 T-chips + 1500 add on (first hour only).

Aladdin has tourneys at 10am and 1pm. Same buy ins as the Sahara.

Plaza has them 3 or 4 times a day.

Orleans has "ok" tournaments. They are more of an all-in fest with unlimited rebuys for the first hour. Too bad they only give you 300 in chips to play with. They run tourneys daily at noon and 7pm.

I was in Vegas two weekends ago and played in tournaments at the Golden Nugget and Binions. The Nugget 11am tournament is ok and usually has 45 to 65 entries.
Binons runs 3 tournaments a day, 2pm, 8pm, and 2am. The 2pm and 2am are the same and the 8pm varies depending on day of week. On the Saturday, 188 people entered the 2pm and on the other two days there were over 120 players. The 8pm tournament on Saturday night had a slower blind schedule and was a $200 buy-in (88 participants. The binions website details the events. They are very well run, organized, and a great value. Factor $110 buy-in for the 2 o'clock events. The competition varies but I found it to be a great test of ones abilities.

the sahara chops the heck out of the tourney but its large (150+)and not too tough as i understand it. i really enjoyed the tournaments at the plaza usually small 30 -60 people with the midnight being the best attendance. 50buy in with an optional dealer/advertisemnt 10 addon (500t) for one rebuy ( i think it was 50 never used it) start with 2000(with 10 add on ) and 25/50 blinds. the alladin 100 pm was also very nice about 50 players the day i played very soft, start with 1500 and a 20buk rebuy/addon is available for t1000 any time during the first hour. the blinds jump from 500/100 to 1k/2k is where it gets a little shooty but your going to find that in almost any daily tournament at some stage. mirage and bellagio offer bigger daily buyins as well as binions (i didnt like binions) and i didnt play in the bellagio or mirage tournies. also alladin and the plaza have high hand jack pots if you want to play some ring games while you wait. careful of teams in the 1/2 no cap nl at the plaza though.nugget staff is very nice but i didnt get a chance to play tournies there.
