101 were selected. The game conditions could be strange IMO.

How big is the superbowl factor in a game that houses 101 of parties best tournament players? There has to be some extra no shows strickly from oops...The tourny starts at 1 PST (an hour before the superbowl right?)

What kind of strat is best for a game like this? It will not be your average tourny because the player skill is way above average.

Who else is playing?? I recognized a few names (crazygramps sticks out) Well feel free to give me a periodic sweat in between munching drinking and watching. I may not last long because I figure only 1 person is going to win, and chips is the only thing gonna win it. I feel I have at least a 2% chance to take this. Probably more depending on how many dont show up.

I do have one possible small problem, but its not worth mentioning unless I win the seat. I mention it only as joojoo.

I guess its Empire poker only.

top 50 1-table and top 50 multi table selevted to play in a freeroll. 101(there musta been a tie)play down to winner take all WSOP2005 main event seat.

I am out now in 41st place with an all out bluff from the BB on a rag board HU... He was slowing aces. Blinds are not moving slowly in the time I typed this 5 more went out.

I died early as well. My top two to his set. I have it posted in the multi forum if you want to cratique(sp?). I feel like it was played ok for an sng, but I have no idea for a multi. I've only played 30 or so ever.

bummer, they should have had this tournament on Party, not Empire. and in the third week of January, not now. I could have played then!

finished 22. had a few nice battles.

lost to a straight flush, and quad 3's so could not do much in the end as i became short stacked.

My table was awesome as 3/4 people were not there and I was able to steal blinds up to about 4k!!!!

The game was very tight. I don't know about u guys but I found it properly easy to steal from a lot of people until I became short stacked.

There's still 5 left. I'm GramiHiaus, with ~16k chips. At the beginning, half of our table wasn't there. We just folded in a cycle until everyone had 2000, then started to play, so I guess it was a big factor.

and btw, I've never played in a full MTT where I've made the final before, and I have 0 experience with low blinds and big stacks NL, so if you have any tips for me, I'd love to hear them.

i want delux to win. he has my chips!!

he took half my stack early on when i was a big guy; he called my pf raise with a j9, then called an all in on the flop and he got a miracle straight on the river after - Then later he was the guy who flopped a royal straight flush against my Full house!

ps. congratz elektrik on placing 4

Out in 4th. I couldn't seem to hit a flop, only pair I had (K2 on K95 flop) I folded - he showed 95o. And I think my preflop aggression left something to be desired, although I didn't have much to be aggressive with. Finally pushed big stack who had been stealing the blinds every orbit with ATo. Turns out he wasn't stealing this time - AQo and I'm out. Thanks to those who came out, thanks, I enjoyed it.

One hand I had a question on though, did I play this right?

I only bet once with a real made hand when I flopped the nut str8 and I got zero action. For the most part I played the game in different conditions. I figured some people wouild play too loose because they wanted a shot, but didnt want to play for hours. Most people would just play tight tight tight. I ran them over....(till I went out agaisnt the guy with aces), and he didnt have a read unless he was watching me from another table because I had just arrived there.

Am I reading this wrong or did you guys just all autofold everything in order to quickly take the blinds from the inactive players? The only way this isnt cheating is if no one says a waord and you all just do it. The way you wrote it sounds like it was organized.
