The cold-call is probably too loose, but the plan was to play the flop strong if I flop an overpair or set. Comments? Good turn card, but what is BB calling with. Good turn bet?

I wouldnt consider this to be a "raised" pot. Those asshats who min-raise in the early levels....nobody repects those raises, nor should they.

Normally, you think of a situation that came from a REAL raise as one where you can garner meaningful info on peoples hand holdings, put htem on a range. MP2's min-raise did not accomplish that.

Of course, i'm just nit-picking. Your action on every street seems to be pretty much standard. Thats how i would play it. gh.

The way I look at min raises are a bad player playing bad. His min raise is the same as a solid players 3-4x BB raise, and represents the same range of hands. So in this "min-raised pot" (lol), when the flop comes rags I can put him on over cards until he proves otherwise. It is hard to put the others on anything however.

you put him on overcards on a 3-3-5 flop? Wow, dont go TOO far out on a limb there /images/graemlins/smile.gif

lol, sometimes my hand reading astonishes me. But I do see min raises with pocket pair over 88 quite often. Is it safe to say he dosent have a 3? lol
