Well, if you keep up with RGP, I'm supposedly a troll with many identities simply because i ask some "unanswerable" questions

So here we go:

I have become entrigued by these allegations of online poker being dirty. I feel that some legit

questions are being asked of online poker. Why are these people "flamed" and being dubbed insane? Wouldn't it benefit online poker to answer these skeptic's questions?

Also, Steve Badger, who sings the praises of online poker (usually) was fired from Card Player over saying bad tings about UB2, a competitor to

his beloved Paradise Poker, for violating the wire act. Well, the way i see it aren't all online casinos in violation of the wire act? Why was UB2 singled out? ( BTW, you dont make a move like that unless you have a confident back-up plan either so i dont buy the "poor ole steve" bit)

Why haven't I heard of any of these "authories" of online poker winning anything significant in a real cardroom (Wayno, Harkness, Rob, Badger)?

What do the real "authorities" (S&M, Abdul, Krieger) think about the legitimacy of online poker?

Why are these people who question the credibility of online poker insane? Is it because they ask questions? Or is it because you people don't have

a straight answer? I'm just curious

"Well, the way i see it aren't all online casinos in violation of the wire act? Why was UB2 singled out?"

All cardrooms are in violation of the wire act. But they located outside the jurisdiction of American prosecutors. But, I am not in violation of the wire act by PLAYING on these sites. The wire act doesn't forbid betting, just taking bets or running the operation.

The argument against UB-2 is that by directly profiting from other people playing, you are no longer just playing. You are now a part owner, thereby violating the wire act.

This is the way I understand it. I am by no means an expert on the issue.

The reason people flame and naysay is that they don't have enough imagination, obervational abilities, or intelligence to tie together a string of correlated circumstances. It is common knowledge know that we could probably have stopped 9/11 if we had paid attention to some obvious signals. Could you imagine the aftermath if the US govt had all of a sudden before 9/11 cracked down on airport security. Could you imagine the ridicule, scorn, derision....and that would have just been from the beginning. Imagine what they told Columbus when he said the world was round even though standing on the beach it is rather obvious looking at the horizon. I wonder if some of these people actually believe that because the online cardrooms are making so much money that they don't need to do anything illegal. Well just explain that logic to shareholders of Enron, Worldcom, Global Crossing, Rite Aid, Just for Feet, Columbia HCS, etc, etc, etc.....

... if I say if I agree with you you'll attack us for accepting ads from on line poker sites, and if I disagree with you you claim that we are being corrupted because we accept these ads.

I know what I'll do, I'll let you guess.

Thanks for posting and supporting our forums,

Ok, I promise I won't attack you with any answer you give. I don't care about banners, I just care about an honest opinion. If you need to email me i will keep everything from the email confidential. I just would like to know an answer if you have one. However, I do appreciate the civility of your response. When I posted this at RGP I was flamed about a hundred times by Badger and his minions.

How can I email you? I don't even know who you are less your email address.

I didn't know that Badger has minions now, but this portrays a rather amusing image.
