This is PartyPoker 2/4.

Should I fold this 99 earlier?

Should I call until the river or should I semi-bluff it?

Thanks for your help!

Raise PF, having not raised PF, fold the flop.

Raise preflop. UTG & MP2 aren't likely to go anywhere, but there's no use letting the blinds in for cheap with overcards to your nines.

The way you played the hand, I think you can safely fold the flop. At any rate, I think this is a raise or fold situation...you don't have nearly the pot odds to call with your 2-outer, so if you're staying in the hand it has to be because you're convinced that UTG & MP2 are both on draws.

My general rule on Party 2/4 is that if someone bets and there are 2 or more overcards to my PP on the board, I fold.

First off. NEVER post BB outside position.

Raise Preflop. checking is bad. (base on the play SB and BB would have folded to your PFR)

Flop. Since you PFR you are going to Bet/fold. This is weak, but two overcards and people will play Ace anything from anywhere. Passive people being agg with an ace on the board usually means that have an ace.

Assuming you bet and were called, then i check through the turn and check/fold a non 9 river.

Thanks for the advice!

But what do you mean 'never post BB outside position'?

Thanks again!

Well I know all the books say raise.

I just made a conscious decision, and I guess a bad one, not too.

I was trying a little bit of a slowplay and it costed me.

Slow playing very bad.

Raising with premium hands very good.

Welcome aboard.
