Zee told me the main one involves a street corner.

in support of his decision to withdraw from college zee cited confidence that he could find several ways to amke 100K/year.

So pathetic. Drop out of school and make 100k with a bunch of bullshit stupid ideas. Panhandling. Are you 15 years old? Don't be a freaking loser. Stay in school. Get the degree.

I don't think you could pull off $10,000 let alone $50,000

youd be VERY suprised. Some simple math shows how profitable panhandling can be. If you stand on a crowded traffic corner at like say a stop light. You'll see what, like 15 lights an hour? If on average you got 1 person every light to give you a buck, which I think is reasonable, the light you dont get any on, is made up by the times someone throws you a 5 spot or a couple bucks. then you are making $15 an hour. You can do the multiplication from there.

Did you factor in taxes?

I think $1 per stop is very unlikely. Maybe that's because I live in the city, where we're all numb to human suffering, but still.

Some people don't understand humor.
It's remarkable really.
You act as if they were trying to find a way to actually do such a thing. /images/graemlins/confused.gif

I think $1 per stop is pretty high too. I'd imagine most stops no one would give anything, but I dunno. I live in a suburb of Chicago which is not too busy and not too small.

I think it could be done if you are an expert panhandler, meaning a creative sign, acceptable body odor, some good lines/jokes, an outgoing personality, etc.
EDIT: Especially in the right location.

Wasn't there a Simpsons episode about this? The most profitable roles are crazy guy, wounded veteran, and something else. Homer did quite well.
I think $15 an hour in the right location with a good marketing strategy is very attainable. But the reality is, most people who actually do this are spending most of it on crack.
