The vast majority of the good players recommend the same basic strategy when playing SNG'S (tight early, more aggressive as the bubble approaches, etc.) Assuming all the players at the table follow this approach, would a strategy of being aggressive early to pick up some chips and then switching to the basic game plan be dangerous?

Maybe not, but at the $11s there are about a million people playing and only a small percentage use this strategy. In fact, the reverse "strategy" is more common where someone is loose and then tight. I don't know exactly why people do that, but I suspect early on they feel more like it is gambling, but then as you get close to the money, the number of players shrinks, and you have spent more time in the game and with those same players, people feel more pressure and more responsible for how they play.
