I think a lot of times what will happen on the river is that UTG+1 will fold a missed draw and/or overcards. But then sometimes he'll have a 9 or a lower pocket pair that didn't boat up and call. And occasionally he'll checkraise his J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 9 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif or his 66 or his slowplayed trips. Against an unknown I wouldn't be sure what to do if I got checkraised, because (though most of the time it won't be) it could be a bluff or even a checkraise with a worse made hand such as 44 (I've been running into a fair amount of these kind of river raises at 2/4, anyway).

Anyway, I think the river bet is fine here.

I play it the same way.

Pretty boring and standard. You can't really checkraise with 3 other opponents in the pot when the board has paired. So you bet it out, and hope no overcards fall. You played it right.

Yes this is like the most boring hand ever. There are no alternate lines to consider at any point in the hand.

Now i am asking this question out of curiosity and nothing else...

Sorry folks for an easy hand. I know I played it right. No decisions to make.

There is 1 2+2 er that will find this interesting though and it was posted for them.

Opponent (the 2+2er) had JJ and drug the pot. Saving me at least 2 bets in the process.

Thanx,
Jim

When do you fold to river c/r here?
