An obvious answer. Unless someone can spot a midget in Casablanca or something, this is the correct answer too.

"Even Dwarfs Started Small" is 90 minutes or so of a bunch of little people causing a ruckus. It is one of Werner Herzog's first movies. I was just checking out the reviews on Amazon and someone mentioned that Herzog threw himself into some cacti to show the cast he understood and appreciated the pain they suffered.

The scene with the monkey on the cross is reason enough to check it out.

Perhaps not for everyone.

Regards.

Freaks. Made in the 1930s. Banned for years. Plot: sexual jealousy leads to tragedy.

The funniest thing I saw in the special features was from the Fellowship, where Sean Astin is talking about the midget doubles they have.

"He's like a little tiny version of me with an Indian accent who's better at chess than I am.
(Sean in an indian accent) "I took your knight so you took my pawn and then I stole your queen"

It was hella funny [censored].

Fact: At the end when they're at the airport there is a plane in the background being worked on. For whatever reason (budget constraints, availibilty, etc) they didn't have a real plane, so they used a large model. The men working on the plane are midgets.

I learned this from my high school teacher. I'm 94% sure it's accurate.

Disqualified. The OP asked for a movie w/ midgets.

Oh, and it is a horrible movie.

My vote is for either Wizard of Oz or Willy Wonka. Willy wins.

Jackass: The Movie.

Station Agent was surprisingly good, though. I think it might have worked even better as a play.

If you enjoy crazy foreign movies or movies involving midgets, then you should see this movie by the craziest foreign filmmaker of them all.

1. All midget/dwarf cast
2. Midget inmates take over a midget insane asylum!
