I'm just starting at the 2/4 lvl and my VPIP #'s are on the low side, 10k hands at 1/2 was 14.3 and i've currently got 2.5k hands at 2/4 and my VPIP is 12.6 I'm just not sure if I'm playin enough hands. I realize the sample isn't huge but I'm trying to fix the problem now. I play all PP AA-77, 66-22 if there are limpers, AKs(o), AQs(o), and AJs(o) A10s. A10o is sometimes. KQs KJs and KQo and KJo. QJs and maybe K10s.Ax with enough limpers and suited connectors if enough limpers. Does this seems good? Any suggestions?

except for ATo is sounds ok, you also may want to add Kxs and Qxs with enough limpers and button or CO.

Just a suggestion... go down to .5/1 and get your vpip up some... you are way too tight. If you try to loosen up when you're at 2/4, you may lose a lot of money getting used to the looser pf standards (post flop trouble).

If you play that tight at 2/4, the LAGs will run you over, IMO.

I think you are also ignoring position with these hands. For instance, you mention hands like ATo and KJo. With these hands, they are easy folds in EP and easy raises first in in LP.

there are plenty of players here that have lower VPIP's, mine at 3/6 is about 13% (i play during off hours because of school) but i still have a respectable bb/100...i think if you have a lower VPIP if you raise most of your hands you should be ok...my PFR is about 8%...i wouldn't mind loosening up to maybe 15% but i think for the game i play in a lower VPIP is ok...

I do raise quite a bit, I play my hands agressivly when I hit. My BB/100 for 1/2 was 2.7 for .5/1 was 5.4 and for 2/4 currently is 2.11 after 3k hands. I'm leary of Kx and Qx suited because every time I hit with those, it seems like i run into the Ax all the time, I know the odds are only like 3% but.....I've had more than my fair share of beats in this dept. to scare me away from those
