Was my fold too weak?

I vastly prefer bet/fold to check/fold on this turn. Don't forget your flop callers may be on flush or gutshot draws (although flush is unlikely with AKQ/images/graemlins/diamond.gif all accounted for).

You simply have to bet this turn. There are too many draws out there and worse hands that will bet and leave you in an uncomfortable spot.

I agree with Harv and James about betting the turn. For as many times as Button has a Q that he was waiting for the turn to raise, he can have JT that was gutted on the flop and now open-ended on the turn (yes, people are bad enough to cold-call with JT). If he raises it's an easy fold. If he just calls and you lose to a naked Ace, so be it. It won't cost you much and you might have the best hand a fair amount of the time.

You guys are all quite correct. I played this very badly.

with that many players in the pot and you being in early position folding is the correct play.
