The UB-2 pyramid sceme is obviously illegal under United States Federal Law. I suggest you do some homework before you sign up.

I forsee this UB-2 program ruining alot of graduation parties for all the low limit college players out there.

If rake is so important for low limit players how come there are plenty of players at Party where the rake is double compared to Paradise, Stars, and practically every other site.

Well playing poker online is illegal in the US.


However, this pyramid scheme appears to be a version that would be legal in the US.

playing online poker isn't illegal in the US. it probably is under most state laws, but there is no federal law that bans PLAYING online poker. but you cannot OWN a site in the US (ie. PROFIT FROM THE DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS) which is exactly what this scheme is.

There is nothing illegal about Multi-Level Marketing, which is what UB-2 is.

If this was illegal, then companies like Amway and Excel Communications would not exist.

I believe you are confusing this with productless pyramid schemes that involve using the US postal mail, or email to create a pyramid structure designed to send money up the pyramid chain.

i called it a pyramid scheme because that is what it is, but that's not why it is illegal. if playing poker was legal in the US, than so would ub-2. but it isn't.
