I think if the NFL played w/no substitutions or timeouts the Pats would dominate even more than they do already. I think that was made pretty clear in the Colts game. If anything, the Pats are the calmest, most conceptually prepared NFL team I've ever seen. This is compared to the 80's Niners & 70's Steelers who won more on "skill" dominance.

And FWIW, my "blink/thin slice" on the Supe is that the Pats win 63-10, and I don't care about either team, personally.

Interesting article, anyway, and again Gladwell's books are well worth reading.
