Man that hurts. I took second and third degree burns to my hands and face working at the fire dept. Was leaning over the hood of a car fire we just put out and a fuel line had popped and dumped gasoline all underneath the engine compartment. Something like a hot bolt dropped and lit the hole compartment up with me leaning over. I was totally consumed by the fireball and threw my hands over my face and jumped back. Went to the ER where they told me I had about 1 hour before my throat would close up from inhaling the flames. Said there was a good chance that I would never breath again on my own. Doctor gave me a 25% chance of my lungs not drying up and me dying. I was thinking it didnt seem that bad but they said that I didnt feel anything because I was in shock. Had to go to the burn center where they took a wire brush and scraped my face and hands down to fresh skin. I refused the pain killer because I wanted to get released that night and go home. Had to rescrape myself everyday for two weeks. The hardest part for me was putting my wife through all the drama. Couple years later my hands have minor scaring and my face is better looking then Brad Pitt. When I work out you can see the lines all around my face. Second worst near death experience I've ever had. That video brought up some bad memories. It was still cool though in a way. Thanks.
