View Full Version : online poker is a joke . . .

Playing poker online is an absolute joke. it appears rigged -- and you have to play it like it probably is rigged. if you don't think there are people smart enough (or greedy and dishonest enough) to team up on the Paradise 15-30 or 20-40, you are all crazy.

think about it . . .do you ever get drawn out on online or sustain a real bad beat without it going through your mind that you were hornswaggled? is that really enjoyment? i think not.

instead of giving money away to rich computer geeks and scumbags, we should encourage more legal poker rooms such as in CA. nice, legitimate live games will help support the local economy with new jobs, etc. at least you know you're getting a fair game, and "corrective" action can be taken if there is collusion, etc.

just my thoughts on the subject.

OK, if this logic is true, you should quit B&M poker all together. I'm sure you have been drawn out on in a casino, this must have been collusion and you were clearly hornswaggled every time a fish hit a 2 outer. Go away you kook, you make me sick and take all enjoyment out of the game of poker. The sickness you spread is from poor play and stupid paranoia caused by drug and alcohol addiction. Of course I may be wrong and you just weren’t hugged enough when you were a child. Either way . . . GO AWAY!

Well, i don't give money away on Paradise. I take it and I don't cheat. Rigged or not, cheaters or not. Right into my pocket. Why is that a joke????

And yes I often get drawn out on. Never look at it as I was cheated. Mabye I'm plain stupid, but in the end I earn money. Actually I use to take it as a good sign when people get their gutshots with poor odds or flop 2 pairs with T4o. Then a silent "Thank you Pokergod for bringing me to this table" goes off. Why would I be sorry? Why would I feel better if it never happend? Then I would play against people who were impossible to win money from.

Maybe live games are much better in any way, I just don't have the oppotunity to play such games and maybe I would get too bored playing 30 hands/hour.... dont know. Never tried. But will at first given opportunity.

I strongly disagree,i will offer you odds of 2/9 that God WILL be found alive within the next 6 months, and i will offer you odds of 100000/1 that in 6 months time you can prove to me that you are still playing poker ONLINE(not land based casino).

YA, I'D PROBABLY THINK TWICE ABOUT PLAYING ONLINE POKER IF I HAD A CARDROOM DOWN THE STREET, BUT LIKE MOST ONLINE PLAYERS, I DON'T. THE NEAREST CARD ROOM TO ME IS A TWO HOUR DRIVE AWAY, AND IN THE USA, THE RAKE IS 10% UPTO $5, IN A 3-6 OR 5-10, THE ONLY GAMES OFFERED, ITS HARDLY WORTH THE DRIVE, LET ALONE THE RAKE. EVEN IF THIS CARDROOM WAS ACCROSS THE STREET FROM MY DOORSTEP I WOULD STILL HAVE TO THINK TWICE ABOUT CHOOSING IT OVER THE INTERNET CARDROOMS. ITS JUST TOO HARD TO BEAT THAT RAKE.

ANYWAY, KEEP THE CHIPS FLYING
