This stuff is the nuts. I put it on everything. rice, ramen, hamburgers, pizza, beef, chicken.

sriracha (http://www.huyfong.com/no_frames/sriracha.htm)

yeah, it's pretty good.

A little off for mexican food though.

But you are correct, it's good stuff. Wish they made it hotter. (I can't find any around these parts that's not relatively mild)

I think this is second nuts. I like the hot chilie oil sauce much more. Has a better flavor and is about 50x hotter.

Though I would only use it in Vietnamese/Thaish dishes.

Siracha is great...but I agree not for Mexican or 'Spanish' food (rice and beans, tostones, etc) ...

One thing thats delicious, mix like 3 parts siracha to 1 part ketchup and dip fries in it...

I love this stuff and always have a bottle. I've always heard it called "rooster sauce". it's really good on egg sandwiches also.

What do you do for your breath? Sriracha's good but there's a lot of garlic in it

Ive come to a point in my life where I almost dont want to eat unless its spicy and/or theres hot sauce available...

I openly deride people who dont like/cant eat spicy food/hot sauce...

Sriracha kicks ass on teriyaki too- check out Yumiko's in Overlake. They have prepoured to go portions of Sriracha to take with their AWESOME teriyaki. Boneless chicken and pork combo. 1 extra sauce. 2 Sriracha sauces. Nirvana.

1/2 the time I eat out, its in Vietnamese restaurants, there's a ton of them here in Edmonton.
Every table has a bottle of that stuff, and yes it is the nuts.
Although Franks Red Hot is great on Green Onion Cakes (due to more vinegar)
