Trying out the 15/30 game, 77 in ep

Full afternoon 15/30 table. Recently moved up to the game and had a few questions about this hand. Notes on all the players at the table thanks to the database that was posted here. Villin in this hand was somewhat loose preflop VP$IP roughly 30 after 100 or so hands. In the previous hand, he three bet me with A9o, bet the flop and turn unimproved and my hand held up.

Comments on all streets appreciated. Mainly, I want to know what people think about the preflop raise and the river call.

It's hard to comment pre-flop without knowing more about the other players yet to act, but with no reads I like limping 77 here better than raising.

Once you've gotten to the river and the scare card hits, I play it the same way. You don't want to open yourself up to a raise and he's going to bet almost anything when checked to in this spot. I think you're beat, though.
