SALEM TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- What's billed as the world's only drive-thru strip club is no longer for sale in an Internet auction.
Bidding for the Climax Gentleman's Club in Salem Township, Westmoreland County, opened at $299,000 this week on eBay.com.
The auction listing was removed Thursday afternoon, and the site posted a message that "completing the sale outside of eBay may be unsafe and will not be covered by eBay purchase protection programs."
Before being pulled, the listing advertised Climax as being "available at auction to anyone who has it made and would enjoy owning the world's ultimate BOYTOY."
Nick Fratangelo, 54, said he had fun with the club but was ready to move on.
"I'm done making my mark in life after all I've done. Let somebody else have the fame, the enjoyment and the fortune," he said.
Fratangelo's company, Town Hall of America Inc., also owns Climax Club II, another strip club located a few miles away. That club features an outdoor pool where dancers swim.
The drive-thru club will remain in business at least until it's sold, Fratangelo said.
For $10, a driver can watch from the car as a nude woman dances inside an enclosed booth.
"You're always guaranteed at least 10 minutes," Fratangelo said. "But we're very flexible. It depends on how many cars are backed up behind you."

Is it bad to admitt I've been there before?
