I'm off to Vegas this weekend to enjoy the superbowl crowds. My usual game in Vegas is the Bellagio 30-60, which I don't find too difficult to beat in general. I haven't play too much poker in the last month or so (live or online) but the times I've played I've been running very well, so I figure this might be the trip to take a shot at the 80 game.

Any things to look out for, or suggestions in general from those that have played in that game?

Thanks in advance.

They only had 100-200 there last weekend, not 80-160.

Put your name on the list since it's always a long list. Then watch the game you'll be moving into for about 5 minutes (easy if there's only one table of it, if there are more than one, find the must move). You'll quickly know if it's good or not. That game in my experience is generally really good or really bad.

It changes around seemingly at random. Same game basically anyways. They spread 60-120 sometimes too.

Yeah I heard this too. I'm just planning to play whatever is next higher up from the 30-60. Be it 60-120 or 80-160 and maybe 100-200, but I'd have to think about that /images/graemlins/smile.gif

If you can beat 3060 you should certainly take a shot at the 80 or 1-2 whatever happens to be running. Nontheless you should keep in mind that almost all the 80 players, even the bad ones can beat a 3060 game pretty easily.

There has been 80 or 1-2 holdem everyday for the past several days.

Best of luck
