At the time, I was comfortably in 3rd place but if I call and lose I am down to 4th place. UTG had been playing pretty tight so far this game. Is it too soon to be worrying about outlasting the smaller stacks? Should I call and hope to knock another one out and all but guarantee I finish ITM?

I only call this with a specific read that the villain is a bad player. ~25% of the time you will have him dominated, ~50% of the time you will be in a coinflip, and ~25% of the time you will have him dominated. You only have T50 in the pot, and you have a good chip position. Find a better place for your chips.
