Techy Q. (Connection reset by remote host)

I have been having problems with my internet connection on this P.C. for a while. Oftentimes recently I have been disconnected by AOL, and it says "connection reset by remote host".

WTF is this all about?

I am thinking of buying a new modem, is this likely to solve anything?

Probably your ISP cutting you off after a set period of time (usually 2 hours) to prevent you from staying on it all day.

Do yourself a favour and GET BROADBAND.
