Folded to me and I have K /images/graemlins/diamond.gifJ /images/graemlins/heart.gif
SB was fairly loose BB was tight.
Steal or wait for a better hand?

Make it 300/350 to go - its not really a steal - but against both SB and BB you are a slight favorite over any two random cards that do not include an Ace and about even money with Ace rag.

I actually would consider raising your KJ more of a value bet in this situation. Odds are you have the best hand. Easy raise to 3xBB.

I made it t400 to go.SB called BB folded.

SB checked I checked.I checked because I thought getting a freecard was good for the OESD but in hinsight I think I shoulda pushed.

There's no reason to raise it to 400. That's too much. With the avg stack at 1600, a raise to 300 is plenty. PLENTY. I would recommend raising it to 250. There are a lot of reasons for this, but the biggest is that winning the blinds is good enough with KJo, and most players are not changing their calling requirements enough for you to add 100 or 150 more chips to your standard raise.

I like your thinking on the flop in most situations, but since the pot is 900, and your remaining stack is 800, you're right, you should have pushed.
