I'm currently a winning cash game player (beating $0.5/$1 games for about 6BB/100) but want to switch up my game a little bit and start getting into STTs. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can adapt my very TAG style for STT play? It seems like my main problem is that I'm unable to develop much of a chip stack early on in the tournaments, then just get blinded out as the blinds increase.

This is normal.

then just get blinded out as the blinds increase.

The key is to identify the point that is the last point where you can still make people fold, and make them fold.

If you hang around in this forum, you'll learn lots about when that might be.

Although there is a lot more to SNG poker than just the above, if you master that one thing, you won't be losing much and you'll probably be winning.

Very "T" early, and very "AG" late.
