Just interested because of a story I'm writing. I don't want to set one up. But I do want any relevant details, so I can talk about it accurately.

Should I cross-post this to the Internet forum?

Thanks.

If I may, I'd like to piggyback a related specific question onto this thread.

If one enters into a rakeback deal, does one forgo the reception of bonuses?

Both of these questions pop up daily in the Zoo.
You might try there, but you are likely to receive some grumpy responses.

Try the search function. Everyone will appreciate your effort.

Don't we expect a certain amount of repetition in a beginner forum? There are only so many newbie questions that can be asked. Perhaps a sticky FAQ like the ones in vogue in the limit forums and the zoo these days might help.

Manimal: check the FAQ of a common rakeback site like rakereturns (http://www.rakereturn.com).

TomBrooks: no, but it'll get deducted from the amount of rakeback you'd normally receive that month.

Sorry one more question:

How many hands a month do you need to play to make rakeback a part of your game, where it is saving you a significant amount of money?

Is it worth going through the trouble of closing an existing party account and reopening one just to get the rakeback deal?
