Button is way too loose pre-flop, but has good raising standards and is reasonable post-flop.

What's the turn action and the plan on the river????

How reasonable is he postflop? Would he do this with two pair? If there's a decent chance he would, whaddya think about raising the turn and c/calling the river if he caps. If you think there's a decent chance this turn raise means flush I might try and get a showdown as cheaply as possible and call here then c/call the river (unless you boat up, of course.) Too simple?

first impression is his got the flushie. but next thought is that smaller set could play this way. no other hands seem viable (JTs non-spade?).

3 betting the turn, exposing yourself to a cap, and having to hit your 10 outs on the river seems too aggro. as such, must be right to call the turn and check call the river unimproved.

I am marking the villain as reasonable post-flop based on pokertracker numbers. Can't be more specific than that as I usually 4-table and my reads are usually based solely on these stats.

Is he tricky enough to be raising a one card nut flush draw on the turn? Maybe he had A /images/graemlins/spade.gif other broadway. With top set I'd be hard pressed not to reraise. If he caps, then call it down and your probably beaten. If he calls and non spade hits river, I bet.

What about a stop 'n go on a non-scary river?

I think I would stop n go here. If you did fill up on the river i think he will still 2 bet, if he has the flush, and then you won't let him get a cap on the turn.
