How do you play AK when you raise preflop and the flop comes all rags with no obvious straights or flushes already made. How do you play this in different positions and with different amounts of callers in a .5/1 or similiar NL game.

If checked to me, I bet. I fold to a raise and check/fold turn if I don't improve.

If someone bets into me I fold.

There are variations, but this is my usual line. You don't ever want to go broke on an unimproved AK.

Heads up. And I would bet it HU about 95% of the time. With two callers, 80% of the time. With more 10% of the time.

HU means heads up. With only one opponent, it is very likely that you both missed the flop, so betting AK unimproved is actually a value bet, rather than a bluff.

What if the turn is also a blank and you cant imagine your opponent improving from that card since of course since youre still in the hand he didnt raise you on the flop that you led. Thanks.

Generally, if there are no draws, I put my opponent on a small pair and check and fold. Occasionally, fire another barrel. What level are we talking?

I would stick to the conservative plan unless you have a great read to the contrary until you gain a lot more experience.
