Two that i can think of

When i was 14 i read "a summer to die" which broke me up a little.

The one that i have read dozens of times, and i always am trembling in the final scenes with Little Anne and Old Dan
"Where the Red Fern Grows"
Great book.

The DaVinci Code.

Yet I didn't really read it. I cry because it's such an overyhyped piece of trash for people who love books you buy at CVS with Fabio on the cover.

Same, and probably only because it reminds me of the pets I've had who have died. Who knows?

I don't know if I cried, but Flowers for Algernon always left a deep impression on me, but it's been 20 years since I read it.

Charlie Kaufman: The script I'm starting, it's about flowers. No one's ever done a movie about flowers before. So there are no guidelines...
Donald Kaufman: What about "Flowers for Algernon"?
Charlie Kaufman: Well, that's not about flowers. And it's not a movie.
Donald Kaufman: Ok, I'm sorry, I never saw it.

Adaptation was a [censored] great movie, and even better script. Flowers for Algernon did get to me, but not as bad as red fern and giving tree.

Didnt make me cry as such, but Lord of The Rings, when Sam finds Frodo and takes up the ring and plans to destroy it himself.

Wasnt really given justice in the film (and didnt really like the actor that played him) and its different when reading the book it takes you x number of months of following the characters to get there.

I mainly read horror (Herbert, Hutson) and fantasy so not really anything to get you going in those.

For whom the bell tolls - Hemmingway.

The end where he makes the girl go and he is waiting to die made me cry.

1. When Peter thinks Ender is asleep, Peter tells Ender he loves him. Tear.

2. A few times at Battle School. Especially the reveal at the end. Nope, I didn't see it coming.
