Nearly positive it isn't on HBO. It's definitely on Starz, but I have been unable to find it on HBO's website.

Ok, it was shown in some movie channel. Starz sounds correct. Did they change the name of the movie? I thought the original name was STU.

The original name was Stuey but it was changed to High Roller. You must have seen it on Starz; it was showing there on the 30th and 31st and it wasn't scheduled to be on HBO.

I haven't seen it but I did download the clips from the official website and I'm surprised people have found the movie boring because the clips were interesting, to me at least.

i hate to sound too critical, and i must admit i was anticipating great things. but not only was the movie poor, but they seemed to weaken the stories i have read on the net. there was no mention of his card counting @ bj or his bet w bob stupak. they worked the doomed love story in and seemed to miss alot of the gambler. in this age of poker it would be fun to see alot of the stories as they are told online. you get more fun from googling his name. yet i taped it. doubt i will watch it again. looking forward to a book that may come out this summer. how could they have manage to make a boring movie about one of the craziest gamblingest best card players ever? i do not know, but they did.
