Any advice on STT Step 2 Tourney?

I'm about to play my Step 2 tourney, for STT. Wondering if it is better to play LHE or NLHE? I seem to be able to place better when playing LHE, so I'll probably go with that.

Any advice or thoughts on how typical players play? Any is appreciated.
