About hour seven of the EPT copenhagen event. I've got just below of what I think is an average stack; about 16,000. The villian in this hand has about 30,000. I just sat down, but I would later realize that villian is loose with a big stack, and pays off with marginal hands.

Blinds: 300/600 Ante 50
Prelop:

Villian raises from MP to 1800. I call in LP with A /images/graemlins/club.gifT /images/graemlins/diamond.gif. Blinds fold.

Flop: QJ4 Rainbow
Villian checks, hero checks

Turn: K
Villian checks, hero checks

River: Q
Villian bets T2500, hero raises to T6000.

Comments all all streets appreciated.

I'd fold preflop. But given that you called, I'd make about a half-pot bet on the turn. He might read weakness and bluff into the nuts. He might read weakness and call with a mediocre hand. Having checked the turn through, I do the same on the river.

NH! I hope he didn't have KQs or something.

He ended up folding. He tanked for almost five minutes before Gary Bush called the clock on him. Having someone staring at you for five minutes is not easy.

I'd bet the turn. Hopefully it looks like you're just trying to pick up the pot because you think he's weak. Really though, fold preflop.
