If one multitables at 2/4(4 tables)would multitablers recommend 4x the generally accepted roll(300x4=1200) or $4800? Thanks.

Naively I wouldn't think so. Your risk per dollar in play should go down with more tables, as you get into the long run 4 times faster. So it shouldn't be a linear increase in bankroll. If you 4 table multi-table one might imagine you need sqrt(4) = 2 times the bankroll of single table (since risk should come down roughly proportional to sqrt(hands played)).

The other way to figure it is that you typically play with around 25 BB on a table at a time. That means that you need a reserve of 275 BB (300 - 75). With 4 tables you need the same reserve 275 but now need 4*25. So you need a bankroll of 375 BB. So somewhere between 375 BB and 600 BB is the bankroll I'd guess you need.

No.

You just get into the longrun faster. 300 BB should still be enough. Although if you aren't used to multitabling, there's a chance your bb/100 will go down, so beware =)

Thanks,all--I didn't think 4X would be reasonable and like the idea of between 375 and 600 as a conservative measure. Have to have some measure of backup especially in the early stages.
