UTG -'I like to gamble'- is a moron with a VPIP of 80 and a PFR of 5
MP is a 21/9 man and very aggressive post flop if he thinks he is ahead.

looks like you lost to a straight flush?

the only the thing i might have done different is popping turn once.

i dont think twice about capping this river... and neither should you

nice hand. if you lose that hand... mark it off as that very rare nut flush losing to the case straight flush.

Yeah I lost the hand. UTG had K6 of hearts and MP had the straight flush.

It was quite funny really. When MP bet into me on the river my first thought was should I go for the UTG overcall but I quickly came to my senses as he was the sort of guy who would call 2 cold with an underpair to the board.
But when MP then re-popped there was no other hand a solid player could have apart from the straight flush. I knew I was almost certainly beat but decided to cap anyway as I also knew UTG would call 2 more.

Of course you can never trust your read enough to fold here but would anyone trust it enough to just call (knowing what we do about UTG)?

It would be insane not to cap.

I would have popped the turn once.

No I don't like popping the turn here. Once this particular MP led into me again I knew I was still drawing and to a maximum of 7 outs.

On the river I KNOW I'm winning. When I don't, the mouse feels it.
