This is my favorite Hold'em scenario. Player 1 has a worse worse hand on the flop than Player 2. What is the best % Player 1 can have to win the hand (after the river) with having a worst hand on the flop (after the flop)?

I hope that made sense.

I'm going to assume you are talking about an up and down straight flush draw going against an unimproved pair of ducks without a flush card or straight outs, which I think is 72.3% to win despite behind "behind" on the flop.

wow, I feel silly. I was actually thinking of something slightly different, but on further calculations I was wrong...whoops.

My idea was somethign like:
K/images/graemlins/spade.gif Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif vs 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif
flop: J/images/graemlins/spade.gif T/images/graemlins/spade.gif T/images/graemlins/club.gif

Apparently the redraw 22 gets to the boat hurts your odds enough that it's better to not have the 2 pair on board with high card K hand....

I still like my scenario better /images/graemlins/smile.gif
