I'm heading to Vegas next month for my third trip (I'm pretty pround of achieving 3 trips between turning 21 and 22). Most of my time will be spent at the Bellagio 8/16. I'll likely hit up the 6/12 at the Mirage and Mandalay Bay as well.
I'm wondering if anyone has any insight on the Palms 9/18 game? Any idea on the texture of the game and the ability of the players? It would seem to me that it would seem to attract your typical WSOP-/WPT-watching, bluff-happy, wealthy fish. Am I correct in this, or is this game actually fairly tough?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I think someone sent me an e-mail that Palms stopped spreading the 9-18 recently. You may want to call the poker room to verify the game is still offered. I haven't yet verified personally.

What kind of chips do they use to spread this game? A mix of $2 and $1, or is it something else?

At the Commerce 9/18 it's played like 3/6 with $3 chips.

It has not been spread on a regular basis since March/April of last year. They used $3 chips.

I played in the game myself last March/April and according to the floorman I just talked to, he has not seen a 9-18 game there since that time.

Best of Luck

Whoops. I thought i was getting a bible verse from Psalms 9:18.

My mistake!
