Last 400 $30+3 Stars SNG's, 2-tabling.

1. 68
2. 60
3. 55

ITM: 45.8%
ROI: 28.9%

Two questions. First for text, the other for the poll.

1) From what I've heard, I should have more 3rd's than 2nd's. Is this true? And if so, since I don't, what does it say?

2) Should I move up to $50, or stop being cheap and buy a better monitor to four table the $30's?

If these are regular SNGs, why not try play more than 2 table everytime. I know party poker is much quicker yet a lot of people 4 tabling.

I get 55% ROI looking at those numbers. What part of your data is wrong? Or is it me?

You don't need a new monitor to four-table. I do it on a 1280x1024... while I can't see all the action everywhere at the same time, I don't find it much of a problem.

Then again, I play at Party where it's easier to view hand histories -- no need to send and check email whenever I want to see a hand.

But hell, it seems like you know what you're doing. Draw a line in the sand, say, 900 bankroll bucks. Whenever you are over the line, play a $50+5. It's a simple way to start building some stats to analyze.

I got a 23" monitor at Fry's like 1980x1700 or something resolution ( I just set it to 1600 x 1200 ) for $173 including tax. 19"ers were cheaper and had 1600 x 1200.

I don't really have an opinion on what you should do, except, if you are cheap and buy a new monitor, just don't get a flat LCD and it isn't that expensive.
