If I wanted a Mounds, I would have bought one. This is a ripoff.
Eh...it's just one in a bag of those little candy bars.
Get your almond fix by purchasing gallons of Chocolate Ice Cream with Almonds. Now that is 'Almond Joy'.

Showing my ignorance, I did not know Almond Joy ice cream existed. Excellent point.
However, if you want a superb treat you can purchase topnotch chocolate ice cream (hand made from specialty shop etc.) and then add your own fresh almonds. Or not.
I suspect everyone is too busy posting close-up photos of their ugly mugs to take any extra time in cracking nuts, or buying well-made ice cream or relaxing before a giant dish of same.

-I'll get you a couple of Twix
-No, I don't like coconut
-OK, I'll get two mounds

it's not chocolate. it's more of a coconut flavored ice cream with almonds.

it's funny because when I was a kid, I used to say that I wished they made Almond Joy's with no almonds - to which people would always respond "Why don't you just get a Mounds then"......to which I would respond "You are a misinformed idiot".....
Almond Joy is milk chocolate with coconut and almond
Mounds is DARK chocolate with coconut and no almond
they've never offered a milk chocolate/coconut/no almond combination and they lost me as a possible lifetime customer because of it.......

It's better if you add chocolate-covered almonds instead.

i prefer the milk chocolate to the dark chocolate on the mounds. if they made milk chocolate mounds, i would never buy the dark chocolate variety. I do like the almond though, so i probably wouldnt be buying much mounds anyway. Maybe they were test marketing a new product?

That sounds really, really good. I love everything coconut.

Mounds uses dark chocolate. Almond Joy uses milk chocolate.
Technically you got a Almond Joy with no almond. But did you get the joy?
