If by "reliable source, you mean WGN radio, then I've read about this already.

The Cubs have been trying to deal Sammy all off-season.

Hopefully the Cubs won't be forced to pay a lot of his ridiculous salary. This should clear the way for the signing of Magglio though.

Too late, Dynasty owned you.

Makes sense for both teams, assuming the Cubs then sign Magglio.

I'm just messin', assuming your source really ISN'T wgn.

What do you think about it as a Cubs fan? Strange how he went from hero to goat so quickly.

Everyone likes to throw around that term "team chemistry" and if you buy into that it was a good move. he was liked by very few in the clubhouse... and i hear his music was liked by even fewer. he is a cheater and juices, and i beleived that even when he was with the cubs, so im pretty happy to see him go. his departure will open the door for mags... so im told by the fly on the wall. should be an interesting year for the cubs... going to be a lot younger next year...

now... lets get back to talking illini basketball... or even the bulls... /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

ya, this is complete bullshit. thats just what the orioles need, another power hitter. it doesn't matter if you can score 10 runs a game if your pitching staff is worse than a highschool jv team. i'm so bitter...

its going to be tough to convince ppl that you're losing money because the washington nationals are moving to dc when you have an offseason like the O's did.

This morning I came across this thread on Footballguys which makes your "reliable source" even more amusing. It was posted 39 minutes after your thread.

Sosa insider info...Cubs trade pending (http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=142027)

Do you two guys pay $25 a year to get the same "insider info" before the rest of us?
