Am I reading this correctly - NBC is thinking of sponsoring a show based off of Annie Duke?

She is managed by Brian Balsbaugh, a former golf agent who has built a stable of high-profile card players. There's a book coming out next year with her name on the spine, and Duke is developing both a movie and television sitcom based on her life (the latter through "Friends" star Lisa Kudrow's production company and NBC).

Annie Duke is great and her life story is pretty interesting, though Lederer's is probably more so, but that show if made will sink faster than the John McEnroe show on CNBC - any body want action on that prediction.

What would probably do better is a 2 hour made for tv movie - not a series!!!

Didn't Emeril have a show on NBC based on his life, that lasted 4 weeks?
